First Thursday 80’s Night
Break out the neon, leg warmers, and big hair—it's time to party like it's 1985! Join us downtown for a totally tubular night filled with music, vendors, delicious eats, and a costume contest that's all about the most rad 80's look (pets welcome too!).
Madras Mayfaire
Welcome to the 2nd annual Madras Mayfaire! A renaissance festival with a fun fantasy twist.
This magical market is back and preparing to be better than ever, with expended shopping and eating opportunities, more entertainment, and an extra epic theme: Pirates vs Fairies! This is going to be the fantasy event of the season, so mark your calendar to make sure you don't miss out! Especially if you love costume contests, axe throwing, medieval trivia...and so much more!

First Thursday Early 2000's
Get ready to throw it back to the days of low-rise jeans, flip phones, and TRL! Rock your best early 2000’s fashion and vibe with live music, great food, shopping, and a fun costume contest. Think denim-on-denim, butterfly clips, and bedazzled everything!
First Thursday Glitz and Glam
Celebrate Independence Day Madras-style—with a 1920s glam twist! We're mixing Fourth of July spirit with a touch of a Roaring 20s glitz for a night of sparkle, music, and fun. Come dressed to impress in vintage glam, your favorite sparkles, or festive Fourth of July gear for our costume contest.
First Thursday Pin-ups and Hot Rods
Rev your engines and break out the polka dots! Cruise downtown for a nostalgic night of 1950’s fun, pin-up fashion, and classic cars. Vendors, live tunes, great food, and a costume contest will keep the good vibes rollin' all evening long.
First Thursday 70's Disco Vibes
Get groovy with us at our 70’s-themed First Thursday! Bell bottoms, disco balls, and flower power are all welcome. Enjoy live bands, awesome vendors, tasty eats, and a funky costume contest to close out the summer with some serious soul.
MDA Monthly Meeting
Our monthly Madras Downtown Association (MDA) meetings are a welcoming space where community members, local business owners, and volunteers come together to collaborate on strengthening and enhancing downtown Madras. Each meeting includes updates on current projects, upcoming events, and new initiatives aimed at supporting our local businesses and creating vibrant community spaces. Attendees have the opportunity to share feedback, discuss ideas, and participate in the planning process for various community-focused events and programs. These meetings foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, inviting everyone invested in Madras’s growth and success to participate and make a difference.
